As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Django Web Developer to join our team and contribute to both maintaining our current platform and developing new features to keep Zit.ng at the forefront of e-commerce innovation. In the future, we plan to expand into mobile applications for Android and iOS, so app development experience is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Development: Maintain, improve, and expand Zit.ng's e-commerce platform built on Django.
- Feature Implementation: Work with the product team to design and implement new features, optimize user experience, and improve site performance.
- API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend and mobile app integrations.
- Bug Fixes and Optimization: Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing code to improve reliability and scalability.
- Future Planning: Collaborate with the team to explore mobile app development opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to ensure the platform meets business objectives.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience developing web applications using Django.
- Strong proficiency in Python and web frameworks.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL).
- Proficiency in writing REST APIs using Django Rest Framework (DRF).
- Experience with Git version control and collaborative workflows.
Preferred
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and payment gateway integrations.
- Knowledge of frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Render, or Heroku).
- Ability to design and build mobile apps using tools like React Native or Flutter.
